OverOps for Java
Introduction
The OverOps Java Micro-Agent monitors Java applications by attaching to a running application or environment and detecting errors and problems, thereby providing you with a comprehensive view of your application's performance.
Important
Note that OverOps requires 64-bit operating systems.
Install Java on Your QA, Performance or Pre-Prod Environment Server
To take advantage of the full potential of OverOps and install it on one of your Java applications in a QA, Performance or Production environment, you'll need to install a Collector first and then a Java Micro-Agent.
1. Install a Collector
Install a Collector on Java. This article covers Collector installation on a Linux/Windows server as well as inside a container (Docker or Kubernetes). You an also choose to install a Multi-Environment Collector, which enables you to on-board new applications and functional groups in an easy and repeatable way.
